Style Faux Pas Does LG Fashion Week!

Woah, I know what you're thinking - Fashion Week? That was like, totally over a month ago. I know my lovelies, it was an INCREDIBLY long time ago! But - we were there - and we had a fabulous time! Fortune was upon us, as I had just purchased a T2i to share in the fun of a serious fashion event, but lo, I took over 600 pictures, and had to ween myself off of the idea that I could in fact post so many photos. I was excited, it was my first time and I didn't want to miss a second of it!
So let's get down to it!

First, let's introduce the team, considering you're like "huh yeah who are you?" (I totally get it)

Here we are fresh from the Rowenta booth - they had a mini red carpet set up, I know, cute and also a little silly! From the Left: Sarah (District Manager and all around fashion sweetie), RJ (Buyer with prowess, not to mention our favourite drama queen), Alisha (Prez of the company, totally fun and all-around awesome), and the one on the right with the goggles is yours truly, the company's main media diva, Emma. I will be doing most of the blogging on this thing, but we all update the twitter page pretty consistently! Anyway - on to the fun bits!

The Girls from House of Groves!

Sachéd onto the mini-stage melding our thoughts with crumpets and book club for the sophisticated. Iced with tye-dyed shimmery pieces, the girls' hair teased to the nines, we could only stare!

Chloé & Parris

Probably my favourite show of LG Fashion Week - the use of buckles and flowing cape-like jackets rolled up to the elbow were marvelous. I wanted to put them on and fly around!

Baby Stienberg

Magically refurbished items! A lot of old phone bi-products and plastic bags were used throughout the line! Absolutely astonishing works of art. The cone-bra I belive is made from phone cords...

This dress was made from pastel blue plastic bags bunched up to look like roses

More telephone cord...

And the final floral piece with Baby herself!

Klaxon Howl

A very casual line, this picture really captures most of what I'd have to say about it...

II

Again, this picture says it all - most people were terrifed! This was meant to be a spring line, but it seemed more appropriate for Halloween!

And that is my short and sweet wrap up of Fashion Week I was only there for a few of the days unfortunately! Some stellar items, a lot of flowing materials, and neutrals for the fall. I can't wait to get my hands on a cape!

I'll post more soon Fauxturettes!

Love,
SFPXO!!!!!
