Guilty Pleasures Event @ The Drake!

Hello fashion darlings! It's SFP here with the scoop on the latest TFI/Drake event, Guilty Pleasures, which took place on Saturday.

I immediately fell in love with some knits that were being featured in the window, regardless of their involvement in the show.

Once inside the room was bustling with fashion lovers, mainly sitting and enjoying the sold-out brunch connected with the affair.

The bar was lined with pieces auctioned off to help benefit the Toronto Fashion Incubator. There were prizes from various Toronto companies, as well as some of the designers featured in the event!

There were lots of accessories featured, many vibrant colours and patterns!

I was able to meet Natalie Good of Andy Hall. The clothing that she showcased was fun and modern while being able to fit into any wardrobe. Versatile and comfortable! What more could a girl need?

I really liked the fur scarves, but the designer was hiding when I stopped by!

As the brunch moved along, models wearing pieces by all of the designers walked down the center stairs on the main floor and made their way through the whole event!

I made my way to the bottom floor, and saw some more jewelry! I was able to talk to Patricia Lynne Pickney about her extensive jewelry collection from around the world. Pangea Collection included many  unique pieces, including wooden bracelets and metal bell charms, decorated with intricately cut patterns of leaves and abstract symbols.

I ventured over to the With Love booth, where I found the model from upstairs. Carrie Russel designs a sultry set of sleep wears and lingerie, with a pinup-inspired flare. From funky floral bustiers to sleek sleepwear, she has a budding collection that I'd love to get into bed with ;)

Unfortunately I had to leave early, but the event looked like a lot of fun and I was able to meet some really fun aspiring Toronto designers!
